Cloudy Melatonin Diffuser

Summary:

Cloudy’s diffusers are advertised as a personal aromatherapy device, but specifically for sleep; their brand is focused around sleep related products. When I was doing my research on Cloudy before purchasing, I found it a little concerning the amount of reviews about people not receiving their products and not hearing anything from customer service for months at a time. There’s a few on the Better Business Bureau website calling them a scam as well.

But thankfully I received my Cloudy inhaler, after about 2 weeks. I liked the packaging and the white color, but the device felt really cheaply made, like it would bend in half. It kind of feels and looks like paper wrapped around a rubber tube, and when I squeezed the tip, the vape juice literally started coming out of the top hole. I didn’t even want to use it after that. The rubber tip in the device also falls out easily. But it came with a little removable rubber mouth piece which I kind of liked.

It has a pretty weak draw and cloud, but I guess if you’re only using this for sleep and not as much as a nicotine cessation device that isn’t as big of a deal. They specify to take it into the mouth and exhale out the nose, so not into the lungs. The flavor was confusing, as it didn’t taste like lavender or chamomile to me at all, and was pretty chemically.

What I did like about the product concept is that it’s kind of like a combination of the HealthVape SOOTHE and CHILL, since it has lavender and chamomile like the CHILL, and melatonin like the SOOTHE, which also has chamomile. It’s advertised to last a month, however it lasted maybe a fourth as long as the HealthVape devices did. There’s also a clear difference in quality and durability when you look at the devices side by side.

Cloudy was also more expensive, plus there was no free shipping. I think I did fall asleep quicker when I used it, but I wouldn’t say it ever knocked me out or relaxed me any more than usual.
